Fans blast Simi over her outfit to the AMVCA – singer fires back at critics

Well, the thing is, there are always those sets of people who don’t really go well with some sort of dress codes; especially when it has to do with women. Simi’s outfit at the Big Brother Naija show was criticized by some folks who thought it was improper. But the singer didn’t bother herself with their criticisms. Soon enough, it was time for the AMVCA show, and Simi again styled herself in an outfit that sadly didn’t go well with a lot of folks; especially the females.

As usual, they criticized. But this time, Simi did not turn a deaf ear to their criticisms. She fired back with the following tweet; “If you take this energy and invest in your life sweetie, my needle and thread dress won’t bother you. You don’t like my dress and hair? I’ve heard you. But I like it. In fact, I love it. I’m living my dream. Be happy for me.”

Further tweeting, she wrote: “Funny how it’s women that enjoy bashing other women. If one is comfy and happy, why are you tightening it to your chest? And before you say I should ignore, I’m not upset at all. I just hate to see people so worked up over something that is not stopping my blessings. Just pray that my music breaks the norm and I become a better artiste and win Grammies. I pray that you make it in life too. All love. All God.”
